Bath Carnival will be an explosion of colour, a truly inclusive free party, designed and delivered for the people, by the people. As our community project continues to grow so must our team of volunteers. Would you like to be part of our award winning team and help us add even more vibrancy back to the city? ABOUT THE ROLE
1x short (3 hour) volunteer shift and you can help us make the Party in the Park and Carnival procession our best ever!
You can work in pairs if you prefer, and you’ll be given an ‘event clicker’ to record numbers on site as well as an official donation bucket. That’s it!
2. EVENT SUPPORT
Those looking to get a bit more involved or gain more experience in events can fill in the form below (click the SIGN UP! button).
We’ve got loads of basic responsibilities such as supporting the organisers with registering performers when they arrive, directing vehicles on site, distributing event programmes, running the merchandise stand and much more.
We can’t put on a free event without the support of people like you so please consider joining our award winning volunteer organisation and experience Carnival from behind the scenes!

3.Support Artist
Be part of the creative process behind carnival, designing, preparing and creating incredible costumes for the big day and assisting creative workshop leaders.

4.Photographer
Help us document our project, capturing the magic of the workshops and colourful events. With special access to amazing vantage points above the city you can frame the perfect shots of the procession and enjoy backstage access to the festival sites.
5. LITTER PICKER
One of the most important jobs on site is helping us keep the gardens clean and tidy so that we can return them in the same condition as found. Any time donated to litter picking, event a couple of hours, goes a huge way and we really appreciate it. We require litter pickers throughout the event and again on the Sunday morning until the afternoon.

Costume Hire
We love seeing our costumes getting out on the road and being enjoyed by a live audience, and every single costume is available to hire on the day of Bath Carnival. Costumes can be hired individually or as a group and all donations raised go towards their maintenance, repair and amendments.
