SETTING A HIGH STANDARD
Over the years the Bath Carnival community project has consistently been recognised for setting the standard in community focused arts. In the past five years our hard working team of industry professionals, talented local artists and incredible volunteers have been shortlisted for 8 regional and national awards; whilst going on to win on five occasions. We would like to thank all the amazing individuals, groups and organisations committed to keeping Carnival alive in Bath. With your support we will continue to tackle social isolation and encourage community cohesion in B&NES.
2022/23
1. Bath Life Awards 2023: Best Event
Judges comment: ““Truly inclusive event with a record number of performers, over 4,000 active participants and thousands cheering on the streets. Covering Bath in colour, character and culture!”
2. Bath Life Awards 2023: Civic (Finalist)
A record breaking year for civic engagement, with 1200+ members of the community performing in the procession.

Adapting our community project for online engagement during lockdown; prioritising the most vulnerable.

Tackling social isolation in Bath by keeping the community engaged in the arts during lockdown.
