2.JOIN OUR FAMILY ‘junior BLOCo’

A really easy and informal way for families to take part in the carnival procession. The theme is Mother Earth - Elements of Nature. So get into the spirit with dress up inspired by Earth, Air, Fire, Water or Space!

Once you've signed up you will be registered with our Junior Bloco, and when you arrive at Bath Rec Ground on the day you'll be directed to the starting point with all the other families taking part.

Our award winning Lead Artist, Hannah, will show you how to make your own Bath Carnival accessories, including headdresses, decorations for scooters, bikes etc, so you’ll be ready to hit the streets in style on Carnival day!

Come with an idea of what wheeled item you'd like to decorate - but please don't bring them to Bath Forum for the workshop.

Costumes are allocated on a first-come-first-served basis - if someone reserves a costume before you, you have automatically been added to the reserve list.
Images provide an overview of the costume, however as repairs and adaptations are required some may vary from their photo.
Carnival artists reserve the right to swap costumes on the day in the interest of safety and sizing. A fitting the week prior to the event will be arranged, please email to schedule an appointment.
