💗 IMPORTANT UPDATE 💗

Firstly, we want to say a massive thank you to everyone who is continuing to support Bath Carnival.

Your community spirit and positivity over the coming months will truly make all the difference in being able to navigate our way through this challenging time. In relation to the government’s response to the COVID-19 situation we have had to take the difficult decision to cancel the Bath Carnival event, which was due to take place on Saturday 11 July.

While we hope to deliver an adapted programme of participatory activities later in the year, the health and safety of our participants, staff and suppliers is our number one priority.

We will continue to monitor closely official guidance from health authorities and the UK Government and will keep you informed with any updates. We are now dedicating our efforts to continue the work that was planned supporting schools, community groups and vulnerable adults across the region.

We are developing new and exciting ways to access these groups remotely and safely. Over the coming months Bath Carnival will be offering participatory arts-based activities to people across B&NES and further afield, via a variety of online formats.

We are hugely grateful to the core funders who remain supportive of the Carnival and with their support we will make it through this challenging period.

Now, more than ever the importance of unity, community and togetherness is evident.

Thank you, stay safe and look after each other, especially the most vulnerable in our society. Love the Bath Carnival family. x
