Join our award winning volunteer team on Saturday 8th July, and be part of Bath’s biggest community project! We need 100 lovely people to help us steward our family festival and marshal the carnival procession. Shifts are just 3hrs long, no experience required, and you can do it in pairs!

• We encouraged spectators and participants to travel to the Carnival by foot, public transport or to cycle wherever possible.

• Our team collected environmental data from performance groups as well as the general public throughout the day.

• We will now be using Creative Green Tools as part of the Julie’s Bicycle initiative to record this benchmark data, so we can better understand the project’s impact on the environment, as we strive to improve year-on-year.

• Our school workshops now incorporate important narratives around the loss of habitats around the world, endangered species and the impact of human activity on the environment.

• The 2023 procession highlighted these issues through a collaborative community performance!
